The Head of the Audit Department in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara of the State Audit Office (SAO), Kakha Kirtava presented a report on the draft law on the “Budget of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara for 2023” at the plenary session convened at the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
The report prepared by the SAO on the draft law on the “Budget of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara for 2023” outlines the reasonability and legality of the ravenue and expenditures provided in the draft budget law.
The report focuses on the current tendencies and important issues in the implementation of the 2022 budget of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, based on which the correctness of the data presented in the draft law has been assessed.
In addition, in the report, the auditors’ attention has been focused on the important issues that have an impact on the management of public finances, relevant to be taken into account in the process of forming the draft of the 2023 Republican Budget Law.
