At the State Audit Office trainings related to audit quality review and ethics have been convened with representatives of the Center for Audit Excellence (CAE) of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO).
The Director of the CAE Katherine Siggerud and the CAE representative Stephen Lord visited the State Audit Office within the scopeof the ongoing project supported by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
The representatives of the CAE conducted trainings for the group of audit quality reviewers of the State Audit Office sharing the experience with the GAO in this direction.
A working meeting was also held with the Ethics Commission introducing to the US colleagues the ethicspractices of the SAOe and heard from them information about the audit ethics practices implemented at the GAO.
The cooperation among the State Audit Office with the CAE of the GAO with the support of the USAID commenced in 2019.
