Two performance audit reports have been discussed at the Parliamen 06 December, 2022

The Standing Working Group on Audit Reports at the Parliament discussed two performance audit reports.

Sophio Dvalishvili, the Head of the Defense, Public Order and Security Audit Department, presented findigs of the "Performance audit of the legal response measures (subsequent response) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the violation of traffic rules".To ensure road traffic safety and prevent traffic accidents, the State Audit Office issued 14 recommendations which identification of overspeeding facts, implementation of continuous video surveillance and strengthening of control over compliance with traffic rules.

Giorgi Kekelishvili, Head of the General State Services Audit Department, presented findings "Performance audit of state control over the process of periodic technical inspection over motor vehicles" to the members of the Working Group.

Within the scope of the performance report, the State Audit office has issued 10 recommendations, the implementation of which will contribute to the introduction of a unified electronic data base, full management of the periodic inspection process of motor vehicles, and the effective implementation of the inspection reform.

Davit Gogichaishvili, Deputy Auditor General, fully answered the questions of the members of the Working Group together with the auditors. Auditees participating in the meeting presented the status of implementation of recommendations as well.
