The findings and recommendations of the following audits were presented by the state auditors to the Parliamentary working group, reviewing the audit reports:Performance audit of continuity of medical services during Covid-19, Performance audit of resocialization-rehabilitation of convicts and ex-prisoners, Compliance audit of the National Museum.
As part of the audit of the performance of the continuity of medical services under the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the auditors studied the policy and coordination of the continuity of health care services, ensuring a safe environment, and communicating with the public. Five recommendations were issued in response to the findings.
By auditing the performance of resocialization-rehabilitation of convicts and ex-prisoners, the auditors assessed the extent to which the planned and implemented measures ensure the achievement of the set goals, the reduction of the risk of repeated crimes by the beneficiaries and their full reintegration into society. In line of these findings, 15 recommendations were issued, focused on developing an effective policy and achieving its objectives effectively.
The findings of the compliance audit report of the National Museum's activities cover the issues related to museum assets, income from economic activities and public procurements and labor.. Eight recommendations were issued based on the findings.
The findings and recommendations of the audits were presented to the members of parliament and the representatives of auditees by Sophio Dvalishvili, head of the audit department of defense, public order and security, Zaza Shekiladze, head of the social sector audit department, and Mariam Zaalishvili, deputy head of the social sector audit department.
Auditees were attended the working group meeting who presented the status of implementation of the ongoing recommendations and information about the already implemented recommendations. Deputy Auditor General Davit Gogichaishvili, members of the audit team and representatives of the auditees responded to the topics raised by the members of Parliament.
