The State Audit Office published the report of SAI-PMF implemented by INTOSAI IDI 21 October, 2022

The Development Initiative of the International Organization of Higher Audit Institutions (INTOSAI IDI) has officially confirmed the results of the SAI-PMF evaluation of the State Audit Office of Georgia.

Professional and organizational development of the State Audit Office (2018-2022) was assessed with 3.4 points out of the maximum 4 points with the SAI-PMF indicators. The State Audit Office of Georgia was first evaluated by the SAI-PFM in 2017 with the average score obtained was 2.2 points out of a maximum of 4 points.

Based on the results of this assessment, the SAO 2018-2022 Strategic Development Plan was developed, the reforms and measures to be carried out were included in its strategic goals and objectives. In 2018-2022, the SAO worked determined to eliminate the organizational challenges identified as a result of the SAI-PMF. It should be noted that during these five years, the Office reached all the targets defined by the strategy.

The results of the repeated SAI-PMF assessment conducted in 2022 has shown significant progress of the State Audit Office in all directions of the organizational development.
