The Auditor General Tsotne Kavlashvili presented the report of the State Audit Office on the amendments to the 2022 state budget in the Parliament.
In the report prepared by the SAO, remarks and opinions have been expressed on all important areas, including – on the updated macroeconomic parameters, fiscal deficit, fiscal risk assessment issues, updated debt parameters, separate categories of budget revenues, budget expenditures, including program and capital budgeting issues.
At the plenary session, the Ministry of Finance presented the amendments to the 2022 state budget for approval. The change in the state budget was mainly caused by the increase in tax revenues of the state budget by 1 billion GEL as a result of higher than expected economic growth.
