The State Audit Office will give granted access to the electronic system (ARIS.SAO.GE) to Parliament in order to strengthen its oversight on the implementation of audit recommendations.
With the electronic platform, the Parliament has the opportunity to oversee the implementation of all audit recommendations, including those issued by the decisions of the Budget and Finance Committee, and to carry out appropriate measures.
Implementing audit recommendations facilitates management of public finances and particular benefits in a number of areas, such as improving the efficiency of public service delivery, human resource management, asset management, financial management, and internal control systems.
The Recommendation Implementation Monitoring System uploads 204 recommendations from 15 audit reports conducted in 2021-2022.
The State Audit Office has introduced the electronic platform for the Audit Recommendations Implementation Monitoring System since 2021.
