Georgia shares its experience with the Eastern European countries 20 April, 2022

State Audit Office shares its experience with the Supreme Audit Institutes of Sweden, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine about strategic planning.

State Audit Office of Georgia is a leading organization among the Supreme Audit Institutes of Eastern European countries in planning and integrity.

On the online experience sharing meeting organized by the Netherlands Court of Audit (NCA), the representatives from the State Audit Office of Georgia presented to their colleagues existing practices about planning and annual auditing activities, particularly on planning during the audit selection of the high impact audits.

The meetings, convened in the scope of the Constituency Programme financed by the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, have been initiated by the Auditors Generals of both counties and has been running in the State Audit Office of Georgia for four years, dedicated to the strategic planning and integrity topics this year.

During the webinar, the representatives from the State Audit Office of Georgia, Sweden and North Macedonia shared their experiences with the SAIs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine with the resulting enriching experience and increased awareness round this matter.

Tsotne Karkashadze, the Head of the State Budget and Strategic Analysis Department from the SAO, made a presentation on strategic goals, monitoring and reporting. The has been participated by the representatives from the State Budget and Strategic Analysis Department: Shota Jamburidze, Mariam Danelia, Salome Verulashvili, Sophiko Khachidze, and Nino Kereselidze.
