Deputy Auditor General Eka Ghazadze participated in the online public webinar covering the main directions and parameters of the 2022 state budget.
Participants of the meeting discussed the key macroeconomic indicators of the 2022 state budget and macroeconomic scenario for next year.
The main topics of the discussion were public debt, access to budget information and transparency, as well as concomitant processes of the budget adoption by the Parliament.
Led by Irakli Kovzanadze, Chair of the Committee on Budget and Finance, the reports over the webinar were presented by the Deputy Minister of Finance Giorgi Kakauridze, the Deputy Auditor General Eka Ghazadze, and the Member of the Parliament Alexander Rakviashvili. The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the local and international organizations.
The interactive meeting was followed by the presentations of the speakers answering the questions of the participant stakeholders.
The webinar was initiated by the Parliamentary Budget and Finance Committee and the American National Democratic Institute (NDI).
