The state auditors presented two performance audit reports prepared on the topic of education at the meeting of the permanent working group of the Parliament reviewing the audit reports.
The auditors introduced the findings and recommendations outlined in the “Vocational Education System Audit Report“ and the “Teachers` Professional Development Audit Report”. The auditees – representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as its LEPLs, reviewed the status of implementation of audit recommendations and presented their arguments on the findings reflected in the reports.
During the review of the reports, the state auditors answered the questions of the MPs.
The working meeting held in the Parliament was attended by: Deputy Auditor General, Davit Gogichaishvili, Head of the Performance Audit Department, Giorgi Kapanadze, Head of the Social Sector Audit Department, Zaza Shekiladze and its Deputy Head, Mariam Zaalishvili.
