The results of the audits of the 2019 financial statements of the Ministries were discussed at the third working meeting of the permanent group of the Parliament reviewing the audit reports of the State Audit Office of Georgia (SAO).
The state auditors presented to the group members the findings and recommendations identified during the audits of the financial statements of the eight sector ministries. Among them were the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs, Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, State Security Service, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defense.
The questions of the members of the working group were answered by the representatives of the auditees discussing the status of implementation of the recommendations.
