The State Audit Office of Georgia (SAO) will carry out joint projects together with the Netherlands Court of Audit (NCA).
Future cooperation areas with the SAO were discussed by Andrea Connell, Head of International Relations at the NCA and Marike Noordhoek, International Project Manager within the framework of a two-day working visit to the SAO in Tbilisi.
The Auditor General, Irakli Mekvabishvili, the Deputy Auditor General, Eka Ghazadze and the heads of the departments met with the representatives of the NCA and presented the activities of the office.
The parties agreed on joint events and expert exchanges in 2020-2021. Adjacent state agencies will also be involved in the program along with the SAO.
The delegation of the NCA was in Tbilisi within the framework of the Constituency Program of the Netherlands Ministry of Finance.
