Representatives of the State Audit Office of Latvia paid two-day visit to the State Audit Office.
Within the scope of the workshop, representatives of the State Audit Offices of the two countries shared experiences on the audit quality assurance, risk-based audit planning and audit of consolidated financial statements.
Presentations of the State Audit Office of Latvia were held by Audit Results Analysis and Process Improvement Manager Lelde Dimante, Head of Audit and Methodology Department Ilze Bādere and Policy Planning Project and Analysis Process Manager Valerijs Sturis.
Latvian guests met with the Auditor General Irakli Mekvabishvili and discussed challenges of modern supreme audit institutions.
The workshop was held with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia within the framework of the EU Eastern Partnership Project.
